Scott's father, Paul Anderson, and Scott's son, Evan, are regular attendees of the annual Scott D. Anderson Leadership Forum.

The Scott D. Anderson Leadership Foundation is a fund of the Duluth Superior Area Community Foundation. Established in 1999, the Fund is dedicated to sponsoring the delivery of high-quality, value-based leadership training opportunities and/or scholarships recognizing the leadership accomplishments for youth.
